W1: Getting Started
🛎 Weekly Summary
We're so excited to get started with you on our learning journey. Join for our first partner event as we get an overview and introduction to a number of Impact Investing issues and topics.
You can join me online as I talk about some of the reasons why NEIII works to empower future impact leaders and this program. Drop in on any of the sessions in the BLAISE learning week (including mine, I'll be speaking on Day 1, Noon Eastern Time). You can listen in, go through the Playbook, and get onto our platforms.
We have a long 4 months ahead of us, but they will go quickly. I'm really looking forward to learning with you during this journey. It'll often feel overwhelming because of the overload of information out there. Take what you can and come back whenever you have an interest. But please do not do too much.
Week 1: Getting Started
Welcome Aboard. Our platform is live, and you are invited to join us online. We’d love to start this learning journey with you.
Your first stop is to open up and check out our Playbook. This platform will be your one-stop space for all our events, resources, and projects. If you can’t find something here, let us know, and we’ll make it obvious.
We’re embarking on a trip, and we want to agree on some values. On the welcome page of the playbook, you’ll see again the commitment you’ve made to join this program. And we’d like to propose some values for our time together. We must create a Safe Space for learning. The program is all about Co-Creation, where you take responsibility for learning and respecting each other's Time and how we organize it.
We have been invited to join the BLAISE program. In the session I speak in, I will give my opinion on how we can work together to change the values of finance and provide resources and helpful websites for those like you breaking into the space. Join us online, and especially check out the Intro to Impact Investing session tomorrow and the Careers Session on Thursday.
Fellowship Playbook
Our Fellowship is a real journey—made up of different modules, various workshops, and additional opportunities. It’s not too complicated, and we invite you to take a moment to read through our playbook thoroughly. This will give you an understanding of what’s possible for you and an overview of the whole journey. When in doubt, come back to our webpage and find all links and further direction.

Lost your overview? We got you covered with this program summary & list of all events (you can of course also find the link in the playbook). We strongly advise you to attend our weekly community call & then see what works best with your schedule & your passion when it comes to all other opportunities (skill sessions, partner events etc.).
We’ll begin our community calls on Feb 12th. You will have seen my calendar invite to join us online during that time. We’ll get to know each other, the program, and dive right in to learning together. Hop
Resources
We will provide you with additional resources throughout the program that we’ll put into the Google Drive and summarize in the Playbook. These resources will be available to you after the program, and we’ll add them as we progress through the different modules and weeks. Some of the content is highly recommended to accompany the content of the sessions, and others are optional if you’d like to learn more. You can find all of them there, arranged following our modules. We’ll add more as we go, so feel free to share any other resources you might have. Be sure to check out Week 1’s Resources.
Communication Channels
If you haven’t yet, please make sure to join our WhatsApp group and LinkedIn groups so you can socialize with each other and share resources. There is also a group for our growing LinkedIn community and our Meetup page, which has over 1,000 people.

We'll get started with community calls next Wednesday on Feb 12 and look forward to having you join us to meet each other and connect. We'll then have community calls on a bi-weekly basis from Feb to May. See our calendar for more details.
