More About the Speaker: Maud Schmitt

Maud Schmitt's experience spans sustainable finance and ESG integration across markets. She brings a strategic perspective on how innovation can drive responsible investment and long term value creation. Most recently, as part of a major Asset Manager ($2.2 trillion AUM), she provided investment recommendations across sectors based on material ESG risks and opportunities. Prior to that, she worked at IFC - World Bank Group, where she accompanied pan-African banks and Central Banks on climate risk finance, agri-finance, and SME lending. Her international experience spans the US, Africa, Middle East, and Europe, providing her with a deep understanding of global market dynamics.
